How to motivate knowledge workers to achieve outstanding results
Approach for motivating knowledge workers to achieve outstanding results
Knowledge workers are the principal basements of any economy in all the countries of the world as they are responsible for many crucial sectors which must be well directed and managed. Nowadays, almost 70% of the workers and even unemployed workforce all over the world are educated people and very qualified. This kind of workforce when employed needs to be well treated and offered favorable working conditions in order for them to be at their top level production. In order for qualified workers to reach outstanding results at work, they need to have a suitable environment which guarantees and enables them to apply what they have learned for the benefit of their work.
On the other hand, if those educated and qualified workers are engaged in positions which enable them to apply what they have learned then they will find themselves highly motivated. In addition, if a worker’s knowledge increases when doing a specific task, then s/he will surely be motivated to do that task as it raises his or her sense of responsibility. In this respect, we should highlight the idea of knowing and feeling the importance of the job which a knowledge worker is doing, the thing that pushes him or her to work harder and try to provide high quality service. Moreover, knowledge workers must be placed in the right position which is suitable for them and goes hand in hand with the respective qualifications and skills, thus this fact enables any employer to be a master of his or her job in his or her respective position so that to find the best solution for any issue at a time record, the fact that makes time management a basic principle in the work. Furthermore, when the work is appreciated then this will raise motivation indirectly. Finally, workers’ rights and duties need to be fixed in advance for a clear and professional relationship between all parties.

Tunisian Politics
